Forma-I

Forma-I (bipolar radiofrequency) addresses the signs and symptoms of dry eye disease (DED) caused by Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD). This is intended for use in the areas around the eyes and the upper and lower eyelids.

Forma-I works by delivering radiofrequency energy into tissues. This energy vibrates water molecules deep in your skin which causes the tissue to warm. This warming melts the oil in the meibomian glands and stimulates improvements in the glands’ structure. The deep heating also stimulates collagen and elastin growth. So this treatment not only improves the health of meibomian glands but also tightens and plumps the skin around the eyes.
